Philip Scott Poli ~ Songwriter: Contact Philip

Windsor native Philip Scott Poli is an award winning songwriter who has been writing songs since his teens.

He is a veteran of the Toronto area music scene where he performed as tenor vocalist with the Toronto band "The Fabulous Haircuts" for ten years. He is a graduate of many Songwriters Association of Canada developmental programs, a SAC member and an NSAI Detroit Chapter member. His song “Radio Flyer” was a finalist in the 2010 Great Lakes Songwriting Contest and more recently his song “Dance Queen Charlotte” was included in “Reflections on 1812” a suite of songs recorded to mark the bicentennial of the war of 1812 sponsored by Heritage Canada. Philip holds a Songwriting Specialist Certificate from the Berklee College of Music.

His songs often tell stories of life in the Windsor\Detroit motor cities area and are delivered in a compelling easygoing style.
